Fall Fashion Failure: Piece 5

Half way there!

On a trip to the blood bank {more on that later} I was so freaking freezing that I forced MB into Ann Taylor loft {armed with my coupon from my last purchase} to try to find me something that fit, was on my list and not 100 million dollars.  Found!

I love the military style, the coat weight {it’s heavy but not wool — so totally fall appropriate} the color is great {not black, not flashy} and the belt!  Love!

Did you get a new fall jacket?  What’s it look like?

The Office Wedding

I love the Office on NBC.  Which, like alot of things that have any staying power with yours truly, I really started off hating.  I LURVED the original version of this program on the BBC and found the American antics over done and lame.  Thankfully, after a few seasons The Office really hit its stride and MB and I happily tune in every week.  That is EXACTLY what we’ll be doing on 10/8 when The Office wedding finally happens.

Fall Fashion Failure: Piece Two, Three and Four

I found this sweater dress in my closet this past weekend, completely neglecting all the while to remember that I had purchased it before I fell out of love with my current wardrobe.  To wit!

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to ME!

My husband is a big time baller, sometimes.  One great example is when, shortly after we were engaged, we were shopping with Jan and Paul in an art store in Old Town.  I proclaimed I liked a very expensive picture frame and right then and there MB had the woman wrap it up.  It was amazing.

This kind of throw down happens with MB.  It’s like he has an innate sense of when I truly want something and when I just claim to want it for no good reason.  He likes buying me more of the things that would fall in the gift category {things I would never  buy myself}.  That’s why when MB threw down and bought me my diamond anniversary gift recently, I hardly blinked.

A Homemade Week: Day 4

Day 1, Day 2, Day 2.5, Day 3, Day 3.5

Running errands and having an upper endoscopy can really take it out of a couple.  So we went SUPER simple for dinner on Day 4.  Turkey burgers, sweet peas and another yummo smoothie.

A Homemade Week: Day 3.5

Day 1, Day 2, Day 2.5, Day 3

After scarfing down the bbQ chicken pizza, MB still needed som nutrients.  He was having a surgical procedure on his belly and couldn’t have food after midnight — so I kept pumping him full of healthy KCals to avoid being too hungry the next morning.  I made him a delightful and easy smoothie!
