Recently, my book club got together to discuss one of the best books we read together in our almost 1.5 years as a book club. The Help. And, as per usual MO of the OTBC, we ate food that was featured {or loosely tied to} the book.

An Ode to My Book Club
There are five ladies that I look forward to seeing once a month. They are vibrant and intelligent, funny and overwhelmingly warm. We read and we talk about what we read. But more than that, we’ve forged a friendship that this month is a year old. A year long relationship is something to be celebrated, especially in a city like Alexandria. I’m so happy to have met them {via Craigslist!!} and can’t wait to spend more months chatting about life, husbands/boyfriends, babies, wine and….books.
