Why I Hate Housework
Put me at a table with another late 20 something woman, especially one who is married or is living in close proximity to their love, and within about 7 seconds flat I’m complaining about housework. How I hate it, how it is never ending and how respective spouses are no help. {which is sometimes unfair …sometimes.}
This morning, as I emptied the dishwasher with a MOUNTAIN of dirty dishes giving me mean looks from the sink, I picked at the not so clean dishes wondering how in the world my mother did it. Then I looked to my feet and saw the dirty DISGUSTING kitchen floor and almost burst into tears. Why at 27 can I not keep a clean house?!

A Messy Start
As a wifelady blogger, there is a lot of self-imposed pressure to make it look like I’ve created this really fabulous life for MB and me, fit with millions of tasty home cooked meals, a sparkling apartment and super sexy nightgowns. Unfortunately, our life, generally is pretty messy. I married a messy guy. And it’s allowing me to be messy. In the interest of full disclosure, here’s a 2010 tour of our mess.

Merry Holidays 09: Part 4 of 67majillion
Ok. So, we decorated, we have found the pickle, we made a gingerbread house, and had some Christmas Eve dinner, ala the Pioneer Woman. Then, we saw Eric off to church.
And I had to get started prepping for Christmas morning breakfast!

Gallery Style
We pretty much hate our apartment. And be we, I mean me. And by hate I mean, well hate. After hearing that my neighbor hates me, and having a terrible no good week, I decided I absolutely loathed our little nest. MB, suggested to make it a little more homey and decided to take on a project I had delegated for a few weeks from now, creating a gallery from a blank wall in our dining room.

“I Hate You”
Recently, we had an altercation with an upstairs neighbor. The altercation itself was at first warranted, but as it drug on my first neighbor fight got ugly, and it has left me feeling really off ever since.
