W&B Loves: The Shopping Stories

I have a lot of problems.  I tend to overeat liquid cheese, I’m a procrastinator to the Nth degree and I looooooooooooooove to shop.  It’s not quite a shopaholic obsession as I manage to pay my bills on time and don’t shop in lieu of say, paying the rent but I like to do it.  A lot.

To feed said obsession, and to help those of us that are prone to fashion failures, there’s a new girl in town {not really that new in town, she’s just new to blogging} that help unforutnates like me know where and what to find to look all sorts of fabulous.  Please meet Stef from The Shopping Stories.

sorry for the awful screen grab

I particularly enjoy the What I Would Wear pieces because most often that’s what I would wear, too.  If I didn’t shop off the sale rack at Target and out of my grandmother’s closet.

Do you have a favo new fashion blogger friend?  I’d love to hear from them, too!

W&B Loves: Lululemon

I’m sure you all remember when I tragically bought a pair of Lululemon’s running pants, took them for a spin on my first ever 10K and had to hold the darn pants up for almost the whole freaking race.  As youw ill also remember I was wildly disappointed that my $90 failed to stay on my booty for an entire hour while I burned up the course.

WELL, you my darling readers, were not the only ones that were horrfiied.  A few weeks ago, I got mentioned by lululemon’s twitter freed asking me if I would please give them my email address — they had seen my blog spot and wanted to chat with me about it.

Hmmm.

W&B Loves: The Death of a President

I only had to watch it once.  After 647 pages and 40 seconds my life would never ever be the same.

I am officially obsessed with JFK.

W&B Loves: Link Love

Good morning! While I contemplate how to talk my arse into running 5.5 miles in C-O-L-D this morning {I’ll let you know how it goes}, I updated my Link Love page to include all the blogs I stalk read daily.  Some of them don’t update everyday but most of them do and deserve a coveted spot on your reader/favorites.

Who said I never gave you anything?

W&B Loves: The NieNie Dialogues

I’m mentally unpacking everything that happened last week and looking for some perspective. While I work that out, please enjoy Stephanie’s story: an inspirational journey from death and back. And check out her blog. If this does not help you appreciate the littlest things and be grateful for today…I’m not sure what will. Be prepared to be sucked in — hope you have tons of time to spare!!

See you soon!

W&B Loves: The Hokie Spirit Memorial Golf Tournament

Every year since the tragic shooting at Virginia Tech, Mrs. Cook holds a golf tournament to honor those that the school lost that day, and more over, to pay homage to brave young men and women that survived.  Specifically, her sister in law, Ally.

This year, the Hokie Golf Tournament is raising money for the Center for Peace Studies and Violence Prevention at Virginia Tech.  The goal is to raise $10,000 this year and they are SO CLOSE!!  Please click here and donate $5.  It makes a huge impact.  My readers are awesome!  I know you can do it!
