An open letter to all of our friends, especially those that live more than 15 minutes from our general, current vicinity.
Loves,
As many of you have {hopefully} heard, MB and I are moving to California. Saturday. Like tomorrow. Like in 24 hours we’ll be on our layover in Pheonix. Whatever.
What you don’t know is that MB and I have been without a doubt, completely CRAZED. Like out of our minds crazed. Here are the reasons why:
- Having movers come to pack and take all your worldly belongings away 2.5 weeks before you actually move is very challenging. Like eat all your food out of the fridge, sleep on an air mattress that doesn’t hold air, live out of suitcases kind of challenging.
- MB defended and passed his dissertation on Monday. In Kansas. With a bad head cold. That he promptly gave to me.
- I have been working every single day. Which isn’t so bad. If your technology actually works. {But I thankfully work on the best, most efficient and kindest team on the planet, more on that later}.
This letter is not only to illuminate the reasons that we are completely nuts but to also apologize for not returning any phone calls or emails in a timely manner. Your love and support during our move, and this admittedly difficult and exciting life change, is unparalleled and appreciated in ways that we won’t ever be able to express. So, if you’re reading this and you need to get ahold of us to wish us well {or maybe tell us how annoyed you are that you never hear from us} drop me a text or send me a quick email. I promise that when I’m west coast bound you’ll hear a lot more from me. Promise.
So, is there anything about the move that you’re dying to know about?
