As we rocked out downstairs with our fabulous new friends the snow was coming down left right and center. So, we did what any group of self respecting 20 somethings would do. We went and played outside.

We had a really fun time throwing snow and harassing the dog.

Since cooking at home more during the week {read: every night}, date night seems a little less necessary. Every day I find myself anxious to get through the rest of the work day, my run and the commute to be at home with my husband, yakking about the day, preparing a meal to share and then eating it.

Saturday was a dark day in the House of W&B. Mostly spurred by my HuzBand’s inability to see the NECESSITY of going to Tysons to get my 10 must have fall essentials. This resulted in a lot of pouting and foot stomping which I’ll document later. I also have very little to show for my shopping spree. Le sigh.

MB and I went out for another sexy StayCation date to Oyamel {which was expressly rejected the other night due to an upset stomach}. I took pictures on my BB but the realized I have not way to get them to myself. The food is delicious! Fill up on guac, though, because this tapas style, fancy Mexican joint charges a bundle for tiny plates of food!
Yumm! Tableside GUAC!

Yes, I whinedthat our StayCation had been ruined last week due to illness. But MB is back in action {more later, promises!} and we are ready to hit the streets of DC as we are still dogless {and loving it! Poor Kanga!}. Tonight after I get my butt back on the trails I’m meeting husband in our favorite part of DC, Chinatown, for our favorite dinner at Matchbox, probably.
