I lurve the Fat Bridesmaid. She’s funny and insightful and I’ve enjoyed following her around the blogsphere. I checked in with her recently to read that she is giving up spending for Lent. I immediately decided we would copy her.

Do you feel trapped by money, your salary?
I’m in search of my dream career — and at this point, I would just settle for my dream job where in I don’t feel worthless and stupid. And it always happens when I find a position that I think would really be fulfilling, worthwhile and fit my needs career wise — I look at the pay rate and I move on.
I’m never going to make as much as I make right now somewhere else.
